So, Rifterlings has just come under a war declaration from a corp called “dresi Corp”. They claim the reason for doing so is wanting to eat our souls, and getting revenge on us for can-flipping their “sister mining corp” (which I am pretty sure we didn’t do, but whatever). Anyway, as most people in the corp are newbies, I was going to write a corp email with instructions on how not to give the aggressors easy kills, but decided instead to make this a public blog, for all you lowsec dwellers who want to not be caught dead.

“I understand that I said some controversial statements on the Cross Assault show, and a lot of people are deeply offended with what was said. When I made these statements, I was very heated as I felt that the culture of a scene I have been a part of for over 15 years was being threatened. I unfortunately used extreme examples in the heat of the moment and feel that my statements don’t actually communicate how I feel. This is similar to what people say when they get into an argument with their girlfriend, and they say things that they deeply regret. I sincerely apologise if I have offended anyone. My statements do not reflect those of Capcom or myself. The last thing I want to do is get them in trouble for giving me and the fighting game community the opportunity to have an amazing show like this.
What I was trying to communicate is that mild hostility has always been a defining characteristic of the fighting game scene. Back when arcades were more prevalent, people didn’t like newcomers, and players needed to fight and pay their dues to get respect. The debate I was in was with a person who supported professional leagues, who have intent to censor the community to make it more accessible. I think the sink or swim mentality is something that defined our culture, and if that succeeds it removes something which has been important to help create some of the best fighting game players of our time. I was unfortunately unable to make this point clearly. Again, I am deeply sorry for offending anyone. This was a combination of the people taking things out of context and my own inability in the heat of the moment to defend myself and the community I have loved for over 15 years.”

And now a blurb from a friend, and my commentary.
Generally when it comes to a blog thingy, I try not to get too into the personal details of my life, unless they are particularly amusing, but I’ve just had a rather radical life change, and I feel it would be cathartic to write about it.
Gosh, I can’t think of a way to talk about it that doesn’t…
It’s amazing the lengths that some girls will go to dig that knife in deep. She doesn’t feel she’s in the wrong, but you did everything right. Find everything, put it in boxes, pack her up and move her out all in one go. I would have even gone as far as getting movers to come over and do it. Frankly, when you broke up, she should have moved out immediately.
Sometimes when girls get upset or don’t get their way,they say things that cut deep. Super deep. I had a girlfriend who did similar things and acting the same way about stuff. She was probably the first girl I ever really loved. She stopped respecting me , I guess, because I was more interested in us being together than the stupid shit she did to disrespect me.
I might have talked to her about what is prompting her to post the pictures, but I’ve been there and dealt with that when I was a lot younger, and I didn’t handle it right. Something is making her feel the need to do it. You’ll probably never know whether it was the for attention garnered, or that she needed to feel pretty, and then why you didn’t make her feel pretty (in her head of course).
At some point she stopped respecting you, and that’s when a lot of this stuff started happening.
This might be a cowardly thing to say, but I’m glad I’ve never committed to someone so fully because of things like this.
This is definitely all her fault. So KB, keep your head up, and learn from this. Respect yourself, you don’t need a girl to be happy.
People I recommend you go read this. Girls especially. Don’t be an idiot like this girl.

During our branch campaign, a guy from FCON was bitching about how many moons they were going to be getting and about how they were getting the shaft. Vile Rat, one of our diplomat directors whipped up bitchesgotojita.png and many laughs were had. I turned it into a campaign poster for our Chairman and Goon Hero, The Mittani.
